Nemanja Zdravković was born on March 23rd 1988 in Petrovac na Mlavi, where he finished his primary school education. He finished his secondary school education at „Nikola Tesla“ in Niš with highest awards, including the „Vuk Karadžić“ award and the Commendation for Best High school students by HRH Aleksandar II.
He enrolled at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš in 2007, with Telecommunications as a major field of study. He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Niš at 2012. During his studies, Mr. Zdravković has received commendations for exceptional accomplishment from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš. He has received the award “Ilija Stojanović“ for contribution in the field of telecommunications as the best graduated telecommunications student at the University of Niš, Faculty of Electronic Engineering in 2012.
In 2012, he entered the Ph.D. program at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering, University of Niš and at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway, as a part of the project “Norwegian, Bosnian, and Serbian cooperation platform for university and industry ICT R&D – NORBAS“, under the supervision of prof. Goran T. Đorđević and prof. Kimmo Kansanen. From October 2012 to October 2016, he was employed at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš as a graduate engineer for research activities. Mr. Zdravković has so far published more than 15 scientific papers in international conferences and in journals in the field of wireless communications. He is an IEEE student member and serves as a Reviewer for the IEEE Communication Society flagship conferences – IEEE ICC, IEEE PIMRC and IEEE WCNC. His research interests include communication theory, low-latency wireless networks, cooperative networks, and free-space optics.
